Chickadee

We had beautiful weather this past weekend so my wife and I set out for an afternoon walk through the local migratory bird sanctuary. The chickadees are extremely tame and will land on your hand—looking for food of course. I managed to snag a couple of great shots, though they’re not the easiest bird to photograph as they rarely sit still.

That's got to take some incredible patience to get those shots, really cool. The sky seems so clear too, this is in Nova Scotia? Looks like you guys got some great weather.

Took a bit of patience for sure. These chickadees are pretty tame though, so just had to wait 5 or 10 minutes before one landed and sat still. This is indeed in Nova Scotia, at a bird sanctuary in Amherst Point near my in-laws home. We've been having some great weather lately with beautiful blue skies.
