I’m a web developer and graphic designer living in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada. I started pursuing photography as a more serious hobby in early 2009 after having dabbled with it for years. My weapon of choice is a modest Nikon D60 with a collection of different lenses. I also snap the odd few shots with my iPhone 3G and consider myself a bit of a craft beer connoisseur.

A few weekends ago my wife and I took a trip to one of the local maple sugar woods with her sister, brother in-law, and niece. It was a beautiful day, but the strong sun glaring off the fresh white snow made it a bit difficult at times to grab properly lit photos.
